We’re about to let you in on a little secret…are you ready….no you’re not
Before we spill the beans, let’s set the stage a little bit.
We all want to be shredded, jacked, ripped, or whatever other hip term you like to use that signifies a muscular frame with low body fat.
We all want to be the guy who walks into a room and immediately gains the respect of every man and woman present, the guy who takes his shirt off at the beach and drops the ladies’ jaws. The guy who looks just as good in the bedroom as he does in a spiffy suit for the board room.
And while it’s not easy to achieve, it is possible, and in this article we are going to reveal the secret to achieving it.
Before we go giving away our secrets however, lets take a moment to dive into an extremely important part of weight training.
Why are you doing what you are doing? Is it to get laid, beat people up, look good naked? Do you have an intrinsic motivation that will get your ass to the gym on the days where you want to sleep in or want to come home and collapse in a heap to watch netflix?
If your reasons for wanting to get shredded lie in receiving validation from others, you will become very disappointed at the end of your journey.
Women need more than 17″ guns and a rock hard chest, and there’s got to be more to you than your washboard abs if you want to garner the respect of others.
So before you start, get clear on your motivation, find something that is personal and powerful to you, because wanting to look good will only get you so far (unless you’re a narcissist, in which case..what the hell, let looking good be your primary motivator)
Some examples of proper motivation are:
~A family member died young from a preventable disease caused by poor health and you never want to have to face that same fate
~You were picked on growing up and want to prove to yourself and the world that you are better than that and that you have more potential than anyone can see
~You simply want to be the best version of yourself and push yourself to succeed in all areas of life
~You want to become more confident, charismatic and have more of a presence.
Regardless of what your motivation is, it is important that you have a motivation, and ideally something that will keep you committed on those days when you are sore from yesterday and want to skip your workout or are too full to finish consuming your macros and want to just give up.
So find a motivation, write it in your workout journal and look at it whenever you are losing sight of why you started.

That’s it. No gimmicks, no bs, and no fluff.
The problem facing most people today, is not that they have the wrong program, the wrong diet, or the wrong equipment, its that they don’t follow the damn thing that they start.
If you are currently overweight or skinny and you want to correct us, show me the stats. How many times have you been in the gym this week? This month? This year?
Have you been tracking your macros and progressively overloading the weights you use and the calories you are consuming?
If you aren’t already shredded, then the answer to all of the above questions is likely no.
We like to blame our failures on genetics, on a bad program, or a crappy diet we tried…the simple truth is we just don’t stick with the things we start.
Regardless of the program or diet, unless it was created by a retarded gorilla, chances are if you stick with it for long enough following the guidelines you will see results.
